About the challenge
We're back with HackBytes II! HackBytes II is a 1.5-day, free, beginner-friendly web development international hackathon! It is for participants 13+, ideally targeting school students in high school and college and company workers. It will start on June 30 at 2 pm Eastern Time (EST) and will end on July 1 at 8 pm EST, and judging will be between 8 pm and 11 pm. The award ceremony will be from 11:30-11:40 pm EST. In between, we will have several workshops :)

You can go solo or have up to 4 team members. Websites only :)
How to Participate

Participants must join the HACKBYTES II discord server to receive announcements, mentor help, and form teams. https://discord.gg/4q363WF6p5

FAQs
**Team or solo?** Both! up to 1-4 members.
**How to find teammates?** Find teammates before the hackathon starts or during the hackathon by DMing members in Discord or with the #team-formation channel in Discord.
**What to build?** websites or web apps or designing websites only. A website whose topic or theme is an extracurricular activity, hobby, OR your favorite cause.
**Format of hack?**new projects only. Can brainstorm beforehand but no coding beforehand.
**Are international participants allowed?** Yes!
Note: Cross submissions ARE allowed.

Website demo link (replit, heroku app, etc) , Website code link (github or replit) , and 2-3 minute demo video (youtube or google drive link)
To ensure fairness, we want all participants to start a project from scratch once they form a team on Discord. Feel free to brainstorm ideas beforehand, though.
